The "Krasnodar" team will compete for third or fourth place during the season, as they have already fulfilled their tasks from the previous season. Ponomaryov also emphasized that the effectiveness of the foreign players in the "Krasnodar" squad has decreased on the field.
Last season, the team won the Premier League championship medals for the first time. On July 12, "Krasnodar" missed the opportunity to win against CSKA in the Russian Super Cup and was deprived of another trophy.
In the new season, the team led by Murad Musayev will start with an away game against "Pari NN" on July 20. Overall, the likelihood that "Krasnodar" will not perform as strongly in the upcoming season is high.
