This was reported by a Telegram channel called Mutko protiv. According to the source, Zenit did not want to buy only Barinov, as Silyanov decided to stay at Lokomotiv.

Recently, the defender signed a new labor contract with Lokomotiv. The new Russian Premier League season will start in the coming days.

In the first round, Lokomotiv and Zenit teams will play against Sochi and Rostov teams at their respective home grounds. The Moscow club will take the field on July 19, while the St. Petersburg team will start their game the next day.

These matches are considered an important stage for the new season.
