The head coach of Kaliningrad's "Baltika" team, Andrey Talalaev, spoke about the difficulties encountered during the preparation process for the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, there are very few natural playing fields in Russia. For this reason, the team has set up a training base in Sochi to find a natural grass field.
Talalaev emphasized that he wishes there were more natural fields and stated, "There is talk of promotion to the Premier League in Novorossiysk, but there is no natural field in the seaside city either." Additionally, Sochi is convenient from a logistics perspective, as it has an airport.
The coach also mentioned that the delay in the season schedule has negatively impacted the planning of the team's training camps and requested the leadership of the Russian Premier League to prepare the schedule in advance. These thoughts were cited by the "Championat" publication.
Thus, the "Baltika" team is facing issues such as the lack of natural fields and delays in planning while preparing for the new season.
