
Former midfielder Ivan Rakitich has now been appointed as the technical director of Hajduk, one of Croatia's most famous and trophy-laden clubs based in Split. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's press service announced this appointment. It should be noted that Ivan Rakitich, at the age of 37, concluded his professional football career in June of this year.
During his career, he also played for clubs such as Sevilla, Basel, and Al-Shabab. Additionally, Rakitich has played 105 matches for the Croatian national team.
In the last season, Hajduk finished third in the Croatian championship, collecting 63 points. This club has had the honor of being crowned champions of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia, and independent Croatia 15 times.
Ivan Rakitich's role as technical director is expected to open a new chapter in the club's history.
