Xiaomi has officially announced the date for the global presentation of its flagship smartphone series — Xiaomi 15. This was reported by GizmoChina news.

The presentation will take place on March 2, 2025, during the MWC exhibition in Barselona.

The new series includes the standard Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone with enhanced photography capabilities.

According to the available information, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone is equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (with 4.3x optical zoom) and a main Sony LYT-900 sensor, ensuring high image quality in low light conditions and when using zoom.

For reference: the standard Xiaomi 15 smartphone was presented in China at the end of 2024. The device features a 6.36-inch OLED display (refresh rate — 120 Hz), Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a 5400 mAh battery (charging technology — 90 W). The global version of the smartphone is expected to have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
