Google Pixel 10 displays will be more comfortable for the eyes

The Google Pixel 10 smartphone series is expected to see significant changes in display technology. The updated displays will have a high PWM (pulse-width modulation) frequency to reduce eye strain. This technology plays an important role in managing screen brightness, but low frequency can lead to eye fatigue and headaches.

In the current Pixel 8 Pro model, the PWM frequency is 240 Hz, which is considered low compared to competitors. For example, the Honor 200 smartphone reaches 4320 Hz. Google is working on hardware and software changes to address this issue in the new models.

The new displays are expected to not only have a high PWM frequency but also high brightness and a "humidity detection" feature. These changes will make the Pixel 10 smartphones more comfortable for visually sensitive users.
