Apple's iOS 18.4 update has reportedly caused serious issues in the CarPlay system, according to pepelac.news. Once considered reliable, CarPlay is now turning into a malfunctioning system like Android Auto.

Users are reporting numerous problems with CarPlay, including it disconnecting on its own and not working after being connected, especially with wireless connections. Apple released iOS 18.4.1 to fix these malfunctions, but users believe the problem has worsened.

On the Reddit forum, users have stated that they have tried all measures — restarting the phone, resetting CarPlay — but to no avail. Currently, in some car multimedia systems, CarPlay is not working at all.

Apple has not yet provided an official comment on this matter. Experts recommend connecting via cable rather than wirelessly. Additionally, it is necessary to check if there is a new version available in the car's multimedia system.

A new update is expected soon, but it is unknown whether it will resolve the CarPlay issues.
