How to warm the body with food on cold days?

The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has provided recommendations on what to eat during the current cold weather. According to experts, the body expends a lot of energy in the cold and needs additional vitamins and proteins to retain heat. Therefore, it is important to consume heat-giving products.
Such products include buckwheat, corn grits, bell peppers, garlic, fish, beef and lamb, chicken meat, dairy products, raisins, ginger tea, and coffee. Additionally, baked goods also warm the body.
During the cold season, it is recommended to use spicy seasonings such as red and black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon. These spices improve blood circulation and help the body warm up faster. Furthermore, chicken soup and other protein-rich dishes help boost immunity.
Experts advise consuming more hot and nutritious foods to support the body during cold days, while reducing sugar intake. Hot coffee increases alertness and helps keep the body warm
