A new phase has begun in developing the extracurricular education system in our country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the decree adopted by the President, significant innovations will be introduced in this field. According to the document, the Republican "Kelajak" center will be established based on the "Barkamol avlod" republican children's school and the Republican student-youth center.
Additionally, "Kelajak" centers will operate based on the "Barkamol avlod" schools at the level of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, all regions, the capital, and districts (cities). Special tourism bases for children will start operating alongside the "Kelajak" centers in Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, and Khorezm regions.
To ensure effective operation of the centers, the position of "school advisor" will be introduced. Advisors will support students' initiatives.
Their salary will be equated to that of the deputy director of a general secondary education institution. From September 1, 2026, advisors with a management certificate will receive an additional payment equal to 30 percent of their monthly salary.
The decree grants a number of new opportunities to the "Kelajak" centers. It is stipulated that experienced specialists and non-governmental educational institutions can be involved on a contractual basis to organize clubs.
Furthermore, with the agreement of parents, it is permitted to set the fee higher than the minimum amount established nationwide. From January 1, 2026, the minimum fee amount paid by parents will be reconsidered.
Centers will be divided into two groups based on the number of students: if there are up to 600 students – Group II, if more than 601 – Group I. The activities of the "Kelajak" centers at the levels of Karakalpakstan, regions, the capital, and districts will be organized as follows: clubs will be gradually specialized based on a unified program; teachers working in inclusive clubs will receive a monthly bonus equal to 30 percent of their salary.
This decree marks the beginning of a new era in the education system and further expands opportunities for young people. Source of information: zamin.uz.
