According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover significantly increased in January-August 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In particular, during this period, the country's export volume reached 23 billion US dollars. It was noted that this figure is 31.3 percent higher compared to the same period last year.
Official data shows that Uzbekistan's participation in international markets is expanding and cooperation ties with various countries are strengthening. The growth in export volume indicates an increase in the country's economic potential and a rising demand for national products.
Additionally, the National Statistics Committee announced the list of the top ten countries that imported the most products from Uzbekistan. According to this, Russia ranks first, importing products worth 2.9 billion dollars.
China is in second place (1.2 billion dollars), followed by Kazakhstan in third place (910.8 million dollars). The next positions are occupied by Afghanistan, Turkey, France, the United Arab Emirates, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Pakistan.
Experts believe that the leadership of major partners such as Russia and China is a natural situation. At the same time, the high positions of neighboring countries – Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan – demonstrate the strength of regional economic ties.
