Winter transfer process for students begins
The process of transferring studies for students during the winter semester at Uzbekistan's state higher education institutions will begin on December 20. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Information about this is provided in the decree "On organizing the admission processes to state higher education institutions." This process is carried out only on valid grounds and applications are accepted personally, i.e., offline.

There is no possibility to submit applications online. The following reasons may serve as grounds for transferring studies: firstly, if a student has started a family and wishes to transfer to a higher education institution in the region where their spouse permanently resides; secondly, if a government employee changes their workplace and their spouse or minor child wishes to transfer their studies.

In this case, a recommendation letter from the ministry or department head is required. Applications are submitted to regional working groups from December 20 to January 20.

Students or their relatives must provide the following documents: an application for transfer, a copy of the rating book or academic transcript, a copy of the passport, and documents confirming valid reasons. Special working groups have been established in higher education institutions to effectively organize the winter transfer process.

These groups are responsible for reviewing applications and resolving relevant issues. Source: zamin.uz.
