Child benefits will be increased in line with inflation

In Uzbekistan, the amount of child allowance is regularly increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to official information from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, starting from 2026, the amount of child allowance will be reviewed and increased in accordance with the inflation rate. It was noted that over the past 3.5 years, the amount of child allowance has not changed, except for a 10 percent increase in July 2025.

According to the new regulation, the allowance amount will be indexed by an amount not less than inflation. A representative of the ministry emphasized that as a result of the digitization of the social assistance system, funds are delivered to needy families accurately and in a targeted manner.

This has created additional opportunities to increase allowances. On this basis, further improvements to the social assistance system are planned in the future.
