Social registry: New procedure introduced for families
The Government of Uzbekistan has approved the regulation "On the procedure for maintaining the Social Registry." This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to this regulation, clear rules have been established for including families in the Social Registry, categorizing them into various groups, and removing them from the registry when necessary. There are several convenient ways to apply to the registry.

Citizens can personally apply to the state service center or an authorized body. At the same time, the option to submit an application through a social worker has also been retained.

Additionally, it is possible to submit an online application through the "YAMIH" information system, the YAIDXP platform, or the "Social Card" mobile application. This allows citizens to resolve issues remotely without waiting in line.

According to the regulation, each family can submit an application only once per month. This requirement was introduced to prevent excessive applications and to regulate the evaluation process.

After receiving the application, the family's socio-economic status is initially assessed. If no grounds for rejection are found, the application proceeds to the next stage and is sent for review by the "mahalla committee."

After the mahalla conclusion is approved, the "YAMIH" system carries out the final assessment within three days. The procedure for calculating family income is also clearly defined.

The total income of family members for the last three months is calculated and divided by the number of family members and by three. In this way, the average monthly income per person is determined.

Families included in the registry are categorized as: "families under state support," "poor families," and "families near the poverty line." The data of families included in the registry is regularly updated.

For example, re-evaluation is conducted every 12 months for the "families under state support" category and every 6 months for the "poor families" category. This system is more convenient and transparent for citizens and serves to effectively organize the process of maintaining the registry.
