Uzbekistan sent 183 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan
According to the information service of the Surxondaryo regional administration, Uzbekistan sent 183 tons of food products to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, NOVA24 reported.

The shipment included flour, rice, sugar, pasta and confectionery products, oil, instant meals, red beans, and products like mash. The humanitarian cargo was delivered at the "Astras" company area in the city of Hayraton.

Additionally, 16 trucks of white marble were sent to Uzbekistan for the Imam Bukhari complex being constructed in Samarkand by Afghanistan. This initiative was agreed upon during a meeting held in Termez between special representative Ismatilla Ergashov, Surxondaryo regional governor Ulugbek Qosimov, head of the office of the Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullo Abdulla Vose, and the head of Balkh province Muhammad Yusuf Vafo.
