In Kashkadarya, an electricity theft worth 558 million soums was uncovered

In the Kashkadarya region, a case of illegal use of electricity has been recorded. During a monitoring event conducted in collaboration with the regional department of "O‘zenergoinspeksiya" and internal affairs departments, it was found that the private enterprise "G." located in the Guzar district had committed violations.

According to reports, this enterprise had been using a power transformer that did not meet technical requirements and was in an unusable condition for a long time. This indicates hidden electricity consumption in addition to the official accounting.

According to preliminary calculations, the economic damage caused to the responsible enterprise due to this violation amounts to 558 million soum.

Currently, investigative work prior to legal proceedings has been initiated by law enforcement agencies regarding this case. The illegal use of electricity not only causes financial harm but also jeopardizes the stable operation of the entire system.
