Entrepreneurs who secretly used gas worth 1.9 billion soums have been exposed
In Tashkent region, another case of illegal use of state resources has been recorded. This time, the incident occurred in the Qibray and Oqqo‘rg‘on districts. Problems related to gas supply and the resulting economic losses are attracting the attention of many. In particular, illegal actions regarding natural resources owned by the state by individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities are causing serious concern in society.

According to "Hududgazta’minot" JSC, during an inspection of one of the non-residential buildings located in Qibray district, it was found that a large amount of natural gas was illegally used. This incident occurred in the Salar neighborhood, where citizen Sh.A. organized a tile production workshop in this building. His workshop was connected directly to the gas network without any project-technical documentation.

As a result of analyses conducted through the electronic accounting system, it was determined that the state gas supply enterprise suffered material damage amounting to 955 million 583 thousand soums. This is not only an economic loss but also poses a serious risk from a safety perspective. Illegal connections to gas networks increase the risk of not only violations but also fires or explosions.

At the same time, a similar situation was identified in Oqqo‘rg‘on district. During an inspection of the bakery belonging to the private enterprise "R.Q." located in the "Usta Nurmat" neighborhood citizens' assembly, it was revealed that it was also connected to the gas network without legal documents. As a result of calculations, it was determined that this entrepreneurial entity caused damage to the state amounting to 946 million 080 thousand soums.

In both cases, the amount of damage identified by gas supply organizations amounts to nearly 1.9 billion soums. These figures alone indicate the scale of the problem.

Connecting to underground or above-ground gas networks without the necessary documents is not only an act of plundering state resources but also has a serious impact on overall safety, ecological stability, and the uninterrupted operation of the energy system.

Unfortunately, such cases are not unique in Tashkent region. Despite ongoing raids, inspections, and monitoring activities conducted by relevant organizations, some entrepreneurs continue to attempt to circumvent laws and regulations.

Legal assessments of these cases by law enforcement agencies are expected. Such illegal activities by entrepreneurs can lead not only to fines but also, in some cases, to criminal liability.

For this reason, specialists and state agencies are calling on all entrepreneurial entities to operate within the legal framework, to formalize all project-technical documents and licenses, and to carry out connections related to gas and electricity supply only through specialists.

Because behind actions taken with the aim of "not interfering" and "quick profit" lie significant material damage, life-threatening consequences, and legal liability.
