The Pakistani Tranzum Courier Service (TCS) company is planning to open a logistics center in Uzbekistan, Kursiv.uz reported, citing the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The center may be located in Navoi or Termez. This issue was discussed between the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Azam To'xtayev, and the TCS management.
The parties are planning to implement a pilot logistics route in the direction of "Pakistan – Uzbekistan – EAEU countries".
Uzbekistan also proposed to cooperate in the field of e-commerce and digital logistics. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed.
