Belgian 41-year-old collector Steven van Dyck has created the world's largest LEGO minifigure collection. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
His collection consists of 11,803 figures, which has been officially included in the Guinness World Records. According to Steven, a LEGO figure is not only a valuable toy but also a means to enjoy researching, exchanging, and showcasing.
The collection is so large that it cannot be stored at home, so part of it is displayed in exhibitions. Steven's interest in LEGO began in childhood, with his first figure being a pirate wearing red-ink colored clothes and blindfolded eyes.
From that moment on, he realized that this hobby had become an inseparable part of his life. His collection includes classic characters as well as figures from popular franchises such as Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, Batman, and Winnie the Pooh.
Among his most valuable finds is a unique British figure distributed only through a lottery. To obtain it, he waited six hours in line to enter the LEGO store in London.
Steven actively participates in LEGO conventions and enjoys meeting enthusiasts from different parts of the world. According to him, he has made many friends through this community.
This activity not only brings him pleasure but also opens up new opportunities and friendships.
