A new private Alpha school has started operating in Austin, Texas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This school is based on artificial intelligence technologies in its educational program. Although the school has set a tuition fee of $40,000 per year, this amount is directed towards personalized learning paths and achieving high results.
Classes are not conducted in the usual way; students dedicate two hours a day to mathematics and natural sciences. During the remaining time, a special artificial intelligence system continuously monitors the students' development.
Unlike traditional teachers, the mentors are IT specialists who assist students, motivate them, and solve arising problems together. After completing the main courses, students participate in practical training.
During four-hour seminars, skills in business management, real estate management on platforms like Airbnb, and effective use of investment tools are taught. Currently, the school has 16 campuses.
It was reported that in September 2025, US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited the school. According to the administration, Alpha students consistently achieve high results on standardized tests and rank within the top 1 percent group.
At the same time, there are various opinions about the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process. Some educators emphasize that there is insufficient scientific evidence regarding the effectiveness of this technology and express concerns about excessive reliance on technology.
However, the opportunity for students to learn at their own pace, receive prompt feedback, and develop practical skills is considered a significant advantage. In conclusion, the Alpha school is introducing a new generation education model in Austin.
Despite the high cost, there are great hopes for the quality and effectiveness of education. Over time, whether this model will become widespread or traditional schools will remain dominant remains to be seen.
