Tokyo and Victoria are leading cities among tourists
One of the world's renowned travel publications, Condé Nast Traveler, has announced the ranking of the most favorite cities among tourists for this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

More than 757 thousand tourists participated in the survey. The ranking is compiled annually and includes two categories: major cities and small tourist destinations.

Both categories are evaluated based on beauty, infrastructure, and conveniences created for tourists. Among the major cities, Tokyo took first place.

The capital of Japan attracts tourists with its ancient architectural monuments, modern skyscrapers, temples, and world-famous restaurants. Tokyo is also currently recognized as one of the most popular gastronomic destinations in the world.

In second place is Kyoto, an ancient city in Japan, and in third place is Cape Town, a coastal city in South Africa. Additionally, the top ten ranking includes Singapore, Seoul, Paris, Vancouver, Edinburgh, Montreal, and Phnom Penh in Cambodia.

In the list of small tourist cities, Victoria, located on the west coast of Canada, took first place. Tourists usually dedicate a day to stroll in nature, relax in spa hotels, or travel by ferry in Svars Bay after visiting Vancouver.

Second place was taken by Puerto Vallarta, a city on the Pacific coast of Mexico, and third place by Florence, the center of art and history in Italy. Also, Lucerne in Switzerland, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, San Sebastian and Palma de Mallorca in Spain, Galway in Ireland, Valletta in Malta, and Hobart in Australia ranked high as favorite destinations among tourists.

According to experts, this year's ranking shows that tourists worldwide are seeking a harmony of traditional culture, tranquility, and modernity. Tokyo and Victoria are bright examples of this harmony.
