12 people died in the fire in Turkistan
A fire that broke out on the morning of November 18 in the village of Algabas, Turkistan region of Kazakhstan, ended in a severe tragedy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The fire, which started in a two-story private house, resulted in the death of 12 people, 9 of whom were young children. According to information provided by the local authorities, the deceased children were born between 2009 and 2024.
Among the victims were five children (3 girls and 2 boys) from one family. From the second family, a girl born in 2018 was rescued and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
In total, three people were hospitalized, with two adults and one child remaining in intensive care. According to the prosecutor's office, the family had celebrated a circumcision ceremony and later relatives returned home to continue the night.
