Three years ago, with the help of lawyers, she obtained South African citizenship. In her opinion, citizenship is not a reward but the right of every person to live with dignity.
Experts emphasize that millions of people worldwide are forced to live stateless. To solve this problem, it is necessary to register refugees and their children at their place of birth and guarantee mothers the right to pass their citizenship to their children.
