Negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the USA were held in Geneva

Trilateral talks involving representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the USA took place in Geneva. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The negotiations lasted approximately two hours and were held behind closed doors. For this reason, the details of the meeting were disclosed to the public in a limited manner.
Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian delegation, described the meeting process as complex but businesslike. During the talks, the parties reached an agreement and expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue.
The date and location of the next meeting have not yet been disclosed, but it is expected to take place in the near future. It was reported that the parties faced certain difficulties in discussing political issues.
Although reaching agreements on some topics was challenging, slight positive changes were observed in the military sphere. The Russian side expressed dissatisfaction with some statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Russia, Zelenskyy’s remarks are aimed not at peace but at the domestic political audience, negatively affecting the negotiation process. Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, also confirmed the resumption of talks.
However, he described the process as "tense." The negotiations were conducted in both bilateral and trilateral formats.
Experts consider the Geneva meeting an important step. Although no definitive agreement has yet been reached between the parties, the continuation of dialogue and the openness of diplomatic channels may serve as a crucial foundation for future solutions.
Now, all attention is focused on the agenda of the next meeting. The international community continues to await positive news from Geneva.
