Poland blames Russia for the catastrophic fire at the large shopping center: the ministry made a sensational statement
On May 12, 2024, a horrific fire broke out at the Marywilska 44 shopping center located in Warsaw, Poland, shaking the entire country. This tragedy not only caused significant economic damage but could also lead to an international conflict. The Polish government openly blamed Russia for the fire.

This was announced at a press conference held jointly by Polish Justice Minister Adam Bodnar and Interior Minister Tomash Semonyak. According to their statement, the fire was ordered by Russian special services and was carried out through a carefully planned arson.

The ministers emphasized that some suspects related to the organization of the fire have already been arrested, and important evidence has been gathered during the investigation.

It should be noted that as a result of this catastrophic fire, the shopping center was almost completely destroyed. The fire engulfed an area of 63,000 square meters, completely burning down stores and pavilions belonging to nearly 1,400 tenants, resulting in millions of dollars in economic damage. Firefighting efforts related to the fire lasted more than five hours, and it was very difficult to bring it under control.

Experts also pointed out that the fire spread extremely quickly and extensively as a result of the investigation at the scene. They emphasized that a fire of this magnitude could not occur naturally or by accident. Based on these aspects, investigators and experts concluded that this fire was deliberately organized.

The Polish government promised to present all evidence regarding this incident to the international community. So far, there has been no official response from Russia regarding these accusations.

The sharp statements from Polish ministers could further strain diplomatic relations between the two countries. International experts are also closely monitoring the situation.

The editorial team of Zamin.uz will continue to follow the developments of this situation and provide readers with the latest news on this matter.
