Donald Trump accused Iran of illegally collecting fees from oil tankers

US President Donald Trump has issued a sharp political statement regarding Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He called on Tehran officials to immediately stop collecting illegal fees from oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz. According to the President, such actions pose a serious threat to the stability of the global energy market and are a gross violation of international trade rules.
On his social media page, Trump stated that reports of Iran charging fees from tankers had come to his attention. He strongly condemned such practices and warned that if these reports were confirmed, the situation would escalate.
The US leader called Iran's policy in the region very poor governance and emphasized that these actions are completely contrary to previously reached international agreements. At the same time, the head of the White House once again firmly stated that he would never allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons.
According to him, Tehran's current actions completely rule out such a possibility. Trump expressed hope that the flow of oil would stabilize in the near future, adding that this process would be carried out with or without Iran's participation.
According to the latest information, a temporary two-week ceasefire agreement had been reached between the US and Iran. However, the Tehran government has not abandoned its intention to keep the Strait of Hormuz under its control and collect fees from ships passing through it.
This situation is sparking new debates in the international market. Experts consider the Strait of Hormuz to be one of the most important arteries for global oil transport.
Therefore, any political or military tension in this region could lead to instability in oil prices. Analysts view Trump's latest statements as the next stage in increasing pressure on Iran.
The international community is currently monitoring the situation in the region closely, as the importance of this area for the global economy is very high.
