A unique staircase piece from the Eiffel Tower will be put up for auction

Another interesting news story has emerged regarding the world-famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, the capital of France. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A unique iron fragment belonging to the original staircase of the legendary structure is planned to be put up for auction in the coming days. This was reported by prestigious foreign publications.
The historical piece being offered for sale is part of the spiral staircase that previously allowed visitors to ascend from the second floor of the tower to the third floor. According to historical sources, this construction was dismantled in 1983 and divided into a total of twenty-four pieces.
Twenty of these parts were purchased by private collectors through auctions held over various years. The piece currently being put up for sale holds special significance as one of the last remaining fragments.
Interest in this lot is further increased by the fact that another similar piece of the staircase was sold at a record price of six hundred eleven thousand dollars in previous years, specifically in 2016. The Artcurial auction house organizing the sale hopes that a new record will be set this time as well.
According to initial estimates by experts, the starting price for this historical item is expected to range from one hundred forty-six thousand to one hundred seventy-six thousand dollars. It is worth noting that this rare item has been kept in the private property of a French entrepreneur who purchased it in 1983.
As a reminder, the Eiffel Tower was designed by engineer Gustave Eiffel for the World's Fair held in 1889. In a short time, this structure became one of the most recognizable symbols in the world.
Today, it remains one of the most visited and attentive landmarks not only in France but in the entire world. Since every part of the tower possesses historical value, such auctions are considered major events for collectors.
