A dangerous road transport incident occurred in the USA involving an Uzbek driver

In the state of Ohio, USA, a traffic accident involving an Uzbekistani truck driver resulted in one fatality. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information, the collision between a truck and a passenger car led to the death of 21-year-old Tobias Forsayt, who was driving a Honda Accord, at the scene. The incident has sparked widespread discussion among the American public and transportation experts.
It has been established that the truck was driven by 42-year-old Uzbek citizen Behzod Asrarov, who had immigrated to the U.S. this year through a special lottery program and possessed documents authorizing him to operate heavy vehicles.
However, the driver's insufficient command of English created difficulties during the investigation. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers were forced to communicate with the Uzbek driver only through online translation applications.
At present, no official charges related to the death of a person have been filed against Asrarov, but he is suspected of attempting to conceal evidence. Police officers, upon inspecting the truck's cabin, discovered that a video recorder had been installed, but its memory unit or the camera itself was missing.
Later, the driver admitted to hiding the device in his personal belongings. For this reason, he is being accused of attempting to destroy evidence, and the investigation continues.
The U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, also commented on the incident. In his statement, the minister emphasized that it is extremely dangerous for individuals who do not speak English and cannot understand road signs to operate large trucks.
According to him, drivers who are unable to communicate with law enforcement authorities should be prohibited from driving on national highways. In the future, stricter monitoring measures are expected to be implemented to prevent such situations and ensure road safety.
