The Main Department of Road Traffic Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan provided detailed explanations regarding the procedure for restoring documents for individuals who have been deprived of their driver's licenses. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This process consists of several mandatory stages, all aimed at confirming the driver's readiness to safely operate a vehicle again. After the deprivation period of the driver's license expires, the citizen must fulfill a series of requirements.
First of all, they must undergo a medical examination, which determines their fitness to drive. In the next stage, it is necessary to attend special training courses to refresh knowledge of traffic rules and strengthen driving skills.
In the final part of the process, successful completion of theoretical and practical exams is required. Only after these conditions are met will the driver's license be restored.
Representatives of the main department noted that the procedure for restoring a driver's license is significantly different from cases of simple loss. In the case of a lost document, it is not necessary to retake the exams.
In such a situation, the driver only needs to contact the relevant authorities, provide the necessary documents, and pay the state fee.
