The Central Bank has announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek som, effective from May 1.
According to new data, the US dollar continues to decline for the third consecutive day. This time, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 13 som, setting at 12,920.16 som.
The European currency also maintained the downward trend observed in recent days, decreasing by 38.05 som. As a result, the new official exchange rate of the euro is 14,681.18 som.
At the same time, an upward movement of the Russian ruble was observed. The ruble appreciated by 0.33 som, rising to 158.61 som.
It is worth noting that earlier the Central Bank had set the dollar exchange rate at 12,933.16 som after a consecutive two-day decline.
According to experts, such small fluctuations indicate stability and balance in the currency market.
