The Central Bank announced the new official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the som on April 28.
According to the announced data:
- The US dollar has risen by 29.97 som, reaching 12,957.14 som;
- Conversely, the euro has decreased by 15.11 som, amounting to 14,702.47 som;
- The exchange rate of the Russian ruble has increased by 0.83 som, reaching 156.56 som.
It should be noted that in the previous two days, the US dollar exchange rate was also on an upward trend, reaching 12,927.17 som. During this time, a decline in the euro and ruble exchange rates was observed.
Looking at the global market, it is noted that in April 2025, the index of the US dollar in the international currency market has fallen to its lowest level in the last three years. This situation is considered an important indicator of changes in the global economic situation.
