The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Karomiddin Gadoyev, participated in the annual meeting of the consortium of medium-sized companies from Malaysia (MSMTS).
During the event, a special panel session on the topic "Open Dialogue. New Horizons" was held with the participation of leading Malaysian medium business circles and representatives from Central Asian countries.
In his speech at this session, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan spoke in detail about the reforms, particularly the measures being taken to create a favorable investment environment. He also emphasized the special attention and privileges being given to Malaysian entrepreneurs in our country.
A number of companies that are members of MSMTS expressed great interest in the markets of Uzbekistan and the special industrial zone being established for Malaysian representatives in Tashkent region.
At the end of the dialogue, an agreement was reached to jointly develop promising areas of cooperation with several advanced companies from Malaysia.
MSMTS unites more than 15,000 medium-sized companies, which are the main driving force of the Malaysian economy. These enterprises account for 40 percent of the country's gross domestic product.
