During the process of speaking in the Uzbek language, many citizens use words borrowed from foreign languages. This was reported by Upl.uz.
However, most people do not know the translations of these words in Uzbek. For this reason, clear and understandable translations corresponding to many words borrowed from foreign languages have been developed in Uzbekistan.
For example, the word “avans” is called “bo‘nak” in Uzbek, “avtopilot” is referred to as “avtoboshqaruv”, and “ayzberg” is called “muztog‘”. Additionally, the word “dostavka” is expressed as “yetkazish”, and “lider” can be expressed as “yo‘lboschi” or “yetakchi”.
Such translations serve to enrich our native language and promote its wider use. In recent years, the government of Uzbekistan has been carrying out extensive work to popularize the Uzbek language.
Citizens are required to know their native language, and favorable conditions are being created for its learning. This is considered an important step in developing our national culture and preserving our language.
Thus, increasing the vocabulary in our native language and actively using it in daily life remains one of the priority directions of state policy.
