Members of a criminal group that committed robbery in Kashkadarya region have been detained, and their connection to another previously committed crime has been established. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was noted that at around 04:00 in the Alisher Navoi neighborhood of Qarshi district, three masked individuals entered one of the houses through the wall. They inflicted bodily harm on the homeowner, his spouse, and their son.
The criminal group demanded money from them and took gold jewelry that was in the wardrobe.
“I felt the door open. I woke up after seeing the curtain move and the light from the flashlight. As I walked to the door, a masked person rushed in and covered my mouth,” said the victimized woman.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 164 of the Criminal Code (robbery). As a result of the rapid actions taken, it was revealed that the suspects had moved at the crime scene in a Nexia-2 car without a state number.
The identity of the suspects has been clarified, and one of them has been detained. Additionally, a person who provided information about the victim in the commission of the robbery has also been arrested. During the investigation, it was revealed that this group was also connected to another robbery that occurred on November 26, 2024, in Qarshi district.
A 40-year-old citizen living in Qarshi city, who participated in the crime, has also been detained.
