Former football player Aleksey Gasilin assessed the chances of Spartak striker Anton Zabolotny to succeed in scoring goals. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Gasilin, ten goals is an important figure for the team, but since Anton has been brought on as a striker in the final minutes to send the ball high, this number is a bit high for him. He estimates that Anton is capable of scoring 5-7 goals.
The expert emphasized that the playing style of Spartak's head coach Deyan Stankovich is characterized by accurate passes over short and medium distances, along with ball control. In such a playing style, Zabolotny may not be able to showcase his best qualities.
Anton Zabolotny is currently the only new player for the "red-whites" in this transfer window. On July 19, he entered the field in the match against Makhachkala's Dynamo from the very first minutes, but did not stand out with effective actions.
Thus, Zabolotny's integration into the team and his role in the game have not yet fully manifested. The team and coaches may resort to new tactics to fully unlock his potential.
