Demenko: Umyarov should have been awarded a penalty, Spartak demands justice
Football expert Maxim Demenko evaluated the match between "Spartak" and "Dinamo" Makhachkala in an exclusive interview with the online publication "Evro-Futbol.Ru". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the "red-whites" are expected to appeal to the Sports Arbitration Commission due to several controversial situations. Maxim Demenko emphasized that "Spartak" left a good impression in the match against the Makhachkala team.

Although the team scored only one goal, there were many interesting and combative moments in the game. The guests played very aggressively during the match, forcing one player to leave the field, and many yellow cards were issued.

Referee Vasiliy Kazartsev's decisions have sparked widespread discussions. In Demenko's opinion, there was a clear penalty against Umyarov, but the referees did not award it.

Currently, there are many changes in the refereeing rules, for example, new rules have been introduced regarding offside and handball situations. This complicates the understanding of the referees' decisions.

The "Spartak" management plans to appeal to the Sports Arbitration Commission. The expert stated that expressing dissatisfaction in such cases is important.

However, this may lead to a negative change in the referees' attitude towards the team. Nevertheless, if there are controversial situations, they need to be reviewed so that referees will be more attentive in future matches.

Anton Zabolotniy has adapted well to the team and played an important role as a combative player. He did not expect to enter the field from the first minutes, as head coach Deyan Stankovich considers the players' readiness.

Once Manfred Ugalde gets into shape, he may compete with Zabolotniy, but this depends on Ugalde's quick return to form. Importantly, he should not fall into a mental slump from losing his position.

In the next round, "Spartak" will play against "Baltika". This match could be difficult, as "Baltika" recently took points from "Dinamo".

The outcome of the game will depend on the first goal. The physical condition of the team and game connections are also of significant importance.

Especially, the first five rounds will be a test for each club, including "Spartak". Interview author Elena Grigorievskaya.
