Former CSKA striker Valeriy Masalitin expressed his opinion on the rumors regarding Lokomotiv midfielder Sergey Pinyayev's transfer to the "army" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that such a transfer raises questions from the perspective of tactics and suitability. Masalitin stated that Pinyayev's playing characteristics do not match the current CSKA scheme.
According to him, Pinyayev and Sadulaev are left-wing players, not midfielders. Cheletsin's scheme specifically requires a midfielder.
For this reason, spending 7-8 million euros makes no sense, as they do not fit into the team system. Last season, Sergey Pinyayev played in 38 matches, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists.
The current contract with the 20-year-old player is valid until the summer of 2028. This information gives a clear idea of the likelihood of a transfer between Lokomotiv and CSKA and highlights the importance of strategic decisions in shaping the future team composition.
