Former "Zenit" striker and football expert Aleksey Gasilin commented on the possibility of central defender Valentin Paltsev from Makhachkala "Dinamo" moving to Moscow "Spartak". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Gasilin, despite being called up to the national team, Paltsev has little chance of securing a permanent spot in the starting lineup if he moves to "Spartak", and he is likely to be a member of the reserve squad. According to the expert, currently "Spartak" has a reliable pair in central defense, and head coach Stankovich has great confidence in them.
Paltsev has recently improved his game, and moving to "Spartak" is considered his long-term goal. However, this transfer could be a serious loss for Makhachkala "Dinamo".
It was previously reported that the "red-whites" have shown serious interest in the 24-year-old defender. In the 2024/25 season, Valentin Paltsev played in 34 matches and provided one assist.
