A new stadium will be built for "Shinnik" in Yaroslavl

A new stadium for the 'Shinnik' team may be built in Yaroslavl in place of the old stadium. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was announced to journalists by the governor of Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Evraev. According to him, a major sponsor is ready to participate in the stadium construction, and their office may be located in the new arena.

The stadium is in serious condition, with most of the stands in ruins. Therefore, there is no possibility of closing the stadium.

The current task is to start the construction of the new stadium, said the regional leader. The cost of the new arena is estimated to be around 12 billion rubles.

Funding will come from the federal budget, the club itself, and the largest share will be provided by the sponsor. The governor emphasized that the old stadium will not be reconstructed, so it is planned to be demolished.
