Sporting Segund's best scorer will be awarded

Lisbon's "Sporting" club is close to reaching an agreement to transfer striker Luis Suarez from Spain's "Almeria" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Suarez has become the top scorer in the Segunda for the 2023/24 season. This was announced by renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer fee is estimated to be around 25 million euros. Additionally, "Almeria" will receive a 10 percent share from the next transfer if Suarez is sold to another club in the future.

The 27-year-old Colombian striker is the highest goal scorer in Spain's second division, and several European clubs have shown interest in his services. However, "Sporting" has demonstrated the most active and determined position regarding the transfer.

Suarez scored 27 goals in 41 matches for "Almeria" and is expected to take the place of Viktor Dyokeresh, who is preparing to move to London's "Arsenal." This transfer is considered an important step aimed at strengthening the team's attacking line.
