Today, on July 25, a congratulatory message was announced on the club's official pages in honor of the birthday of the team's former striker Hulk. The Brazilian footballer turned 39 years old.
The press service of the St. Petersburg team issued a short but heartfelt statement: "Happy 39th birthday to the amazing Hulk!" they said.
Hulk played for Zenit from 2012 to 2016. He transferred from the Portuguese club Porto for 40 million euros.
During four seasons, he played in 148 matches, scored 77 goals, and provided 59 assists. Since 2021, the Brazilian footballer has continued his career at his home club, Atletico Mineiro.
Despite his age, he maintains his high-level performance.
