The coach of the "Pari NN" team, Aleksey Shpilevskiy, who previously worked at the "Aris" club in Cyprus where Aleksandr Kokorin currently plays, shared his thoughts about the Russian striker. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the specialist, opinions about the player are often based on rumors that do not correspond to reality. Shpilevskiy emphasized that he was satisfied with Kokorin's professional skills during their work together.
The coach stated that various legends have spread regarding Aleksandr Kokorin's playing style and behavior. During their first acquaintance, the coach also experienced mixed feelings, as he formed his opinion based solely on what he had heard or read about the player.
However, during practical work, he did not see any negative sides. Shpilevskiy mentioned this in an interview with the "Izvestiya" publication.
It is worth noting that Aleksandr Kokorin has been playing for "Aris" since 2022. He was initially loaned from the "Fiorentina" club, and in the summer of 2024, he joined the team as a free agent.
During this time, he has played 92 matches, scored 33 goals, and provided 17 assists. Kokorin is considered one of the key players of the team.
