Dana White: "The UFC taking place in Russia depends on Trump and Putin"

UFC President Dana White expressed his opinion on the issue of organizing competitions in Russia. According to him, this process is influenced by two major political figures – U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We can hold UFC fights in Moscow or St. Petersburg. However, its realization depends on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. You understand what I mean," White said in an interview with the "Ushataika" YouTube channel.
This statement indicates that UFC representatives may face certain obstacles in organizing major competitions in Russia. It is worth noting that the UFC has previously held a tournament in Moscow, and Russian fighters have been achieving significant success in the promotion.
As a reminder, the last major UFC tournament – "UFC 313" took place in the U.S. So far, no official decision has been made regarding the organization of another tournament in Russia by the promotion.
