Roma wants to buy Echeverri from Manchester City

The Italian Serie A club "Roma" continues its efforts to strengthen the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Calcio Mercato, the club intends to purchase forward midfielder Claudio Echeverri from "Manchester City." Sources indicate that negotiations between the two clubs have already reached an advanced stage.

The terms of the agreement may include a loan with an option to buy or a long-term loan. Meanwhile, "Manchester City" has not yet officially agreed to the departure of the 19-year-old Argentine player.

After transferring to "Manchester City" at the beginning of 2024, Claudio Echeverri played on loan at "River Plate" for another year. Since joining "Manchester City," he has appeared in three matches and managed to score one goal.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at 18 million euros. This transfer will serve to strengthen "Roma's" attacking line.

An agreement between the club and the player is expected to be formalized soon.
