A new contract has been signed between Moscow's Spartak football club and the team's forward Markinos. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Now the player will play for the club until 2029. This was announced by Spartak's press service.
It has been noted that Markinos has earned great respect among fans after one year at the club and was named the best player of the last season. It is worth mentioning that Markinos transferred to Spartak from Ferencváros in the summer of 2024.
The Brazilian player chose the number ten for himself at the beginning of the new season. In the current season, Markinos has scored one goal for Spartak.
He scored this goal against Dynamo Makhachkala. Additionally, the player received a red card in the second round of the RPL against Baltika.
Markinos's new contract with the club allows him to remain active in Spartak for many years. The club's management and fans expect high results from the player.
