“Zenit” and “Spartak” issues, “Lokomotiv” had a strong start

The performance of the “Zenit” team does not yet seem reliable. The Petersburg team collected four points in matches against “Rostov” and “Rubin”.

In the first round, the team was losing 0:1, but changed the situation at the end of the match and secured the victory. In the second match, however, they initially played well and took a 2:0 lead, but ultimately lost the victory.

The conclusions are as follows: firstly, “Zenit” has lost its previous enthusiasm, and secondly, the team has not yet fully recovered from the last season. Additionally, “Zenit” is no longer the sole leader of the championship.

The championship in 2024 was achieved through significant effort, while last season they lost to “Krasnodar” and problems are already evident at the beginning of the new season. The “Spartak” team also has issues.

The team must almost always play well, but they are failing to meet this requirement. The game against “Dinamo” was beautiful, but the match against “Baltika” was completely unsuccessful.

The expulsion of two players from the field showed a lack of discipline. “Spartak” head coach Stankovich is unable to keep the team in order, and whenever there is a problem, disorder arises within the team.

This situation was also observed last season. If the situation does not change, the management may take serious measures.

“Lokomotiv” started the season well. The team first defeated “Sochi” by a large score.

The next victory was achieved over “Krasnodar”, making this team the leader of the competition. Especially noteworthy is the good performance of “Lokomotiv” player Batrakov.

However, the team's short bench and young roster seem insufficient for the championship. Nevertheless, “Lokomotiv” can compete for a strong top three.

The “Sochi” team suffered defeats in both rounds. Initially losing 0:3 to “Lokomotiv”, then 0:4 to “Akron”.

In the second game, they were trailing 0:3 until the 13th minute, and the outcome of the game was decided. After two games, a total defeat of 0:7 is a heavy result for the team.

The “Baltika” team has accumulated four points in two rounds. They recorded a draw against Moscow's “Dinamo” and achieved a determined victory over “Spartak” with a score of 3:0.

The actions of the team’s head coach Andrey Talalayev are yielding results. “Baltika” player Vladislav Saus also showed a good game and was the author of the first goal.

Although he is a graduate of the “Zenit” academy, he is making a name for himself in the “Baltika” squad. The “Dinamo” team has still not found their game.

The arrival of new head coach Valeriy Karpin and the rumors surrounding the players have increased pressure on the team. In the first round, they recorded a 1:1 draw against “Baltika”.

In the second game, they achieved a narrow victory over “Rostov”. The team has not yet found its distinctive style of play, but points are being accumulated.
