The conclusions are as follows: firstly, “Zenit” has lost its previous enthusiasm, and secondly, the team has not yet fully recovered from the last season. Additionally, “Zenit” is no longer the sole leader of the championship.
The championship in 2024 was achieved through significant effort, while last season they lost to “Krasnodar” and problems are already evident at the beginning of the new season. The “Spartak” team also has issues.
The team must almost always play well, but they are failing to meet this requirement. The game against “Dinamo” was beautiful, but the match against “Baltika” was completely unsuccessful.

In the second game, they were trailing 0:3 until the 13th minute, and the outcome of the game was decided. After two games, a total defeat of 0:7 is a heavy result for the team.
The “Baltika” team has accumulated four points in two rounds. They recorded a draw against Moscow's “Dinamo” and achieved a determined victory over “Spartak” with a score of 3:0.
The actions of the team’s head coach Andrey Talalayev are yielding results. “Baltika” player Vladislav Saus also showed a good game and was the author of the first goal.
Although he is a graduate of the “Zenit” academy, he is making a name for himself in the “Baltika” squad. The “Dinamo” team has still not found their game.
The arrival of new head coach Valeriy Karpin and the rumors surrounding the players have increased pressure on the team. In the first round, they recorded a 1:1 draw against “Baltika”.
