
The head coach of Moscow's Spartak team, temporarily filled by Nenad Sakich, acknowledged Anton Zabolotnyn's contribution to the victory in the match against Rostov within the group stage of the Russian Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The match took place in the first round, and the Spartak team won 2:0. The goals were scored by Daniil Khlusevich and Pablo Solari.
This result marked the second victory for the "red-whites" in their last five encounters. According to the coach, Anton Zabolotnyn was given more opportunities on the field in today's match due to receiving an early red card in the previous game.
The player provided an assist for a goal and earned a penalty. Therefore, the coach expressed his satisfaction with Zabolotnyn's performance.
Anton Zabolotnyn joined the Spartak team as a free agent in the summer of this year. Prior to that, he played for the Khimki team.
