
The Russian Football Union's Control and Disciplinary Committee made a decision regarding Anton Zabolotny's suspension from the game. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The "Spartak" team's forward received a red card in the match against "Baltika." In this match, Zabolotny was sent off by referee Sergey Karasyov after reviewing the episode through the VAR system for a gross violation of the rules.
Committee chairman Artur Grigoryants informed journalists that the expert council deemed Zabolotny's suspension appropriate. As a result, the player was disqualified for two games, one of which is conditional, with a probation period set until the end of the year.
Zabolotny apologized to the committee and the "Baltika" player. Therefore, Anton Zabolotny will miss the match against "Akron" on August 3.
However, he will have the opportunity to participate in the match against "Lokomotiv" on August 9.
