Spartak is interested in the transfer of Cameroon defender Christopher Wu

The Moscow Spartak football club is showing interest in the services of Cameroonian central defender Christopher Wu, who is playing for the French team Rennes. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Journalist Safa Jan Konuksever from Fanatik publication reported that the club is ready to purchase the 27-year-old player. Wu's transfer fee is six million euros.

In the 2024-2025 season, Christopher Wu has played in 21 matches. He has not scored or provided an assist in these games, but he has received six yellow cards and has been sent off once.

The defender's height is 191 centimeters. Previously, Spartak club reported that they had added midfielder Jedson Fernandes from Turkey's Beşiktaş to their squad.

This transfer became the most expensive purchase in the history of the capital club, with twenty million euros and various bonuses paid for the player. The Spartak team is currently working on strengthening its squad.
