Joao Palinha is returning to the English Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to renowned football news author Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old Portuguese midfielder has already successfully passed a medical examination for the “Tottenham” team. This transfer is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
“Tottenham” will take Palinha on loan from “Bayern” and will have the option to fully purchase the player for 30 million euros. However, this condition is not mandatory.
Last season, “Tottenham” had an unsuccessful participation in the English Premier League, finishing only in 17th place. Nevertheless, the team managed to win in the Europa League and secured the right to participate in the Champions League.
At the beginning of the summer season, Thomas Frank was appointed as the head coach of “Tottenham.” The addition of the new player is expected to help improve the team's results.
