Former Russian national team footballer Roman Pavlyuchenko continues to provide his predictions for the Russian championship matches. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This time he made a prediction for the central match of the Premier League's third round — the game between “Zenit” and CSKA. The former “Spartak” player expects the hosts to win this contest.
According to Pavlyuchenko, “Zenit” head coach Semak has enough motivation in his team to secure a victory. At the same time, CSKA players will not give up easily.
He expects a result of 3:2 or 2:1, but emphasizes that in both cases “Zenit” will come out on top. “I firmly believe in ‘Zenit’ winning,” says Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The match will take place on August 3, Sunday. The game will start at 18:00 at the “Gazprom Arena” stadium (Moscow time).
